Crystal Mullis
EQUINE SPECIALIST
Crystal found a love for God’s presence at the barn starting as a volunteer and then extending her credentials with a certification in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Learning (EAP/L), seeking to facilitate that presence for others as well. She holds a strong passion for whole-body wellness, primarily working as a licensed massage therapist (LMT) and licensed practical nurse (LPN) with additional certifications in specialized techniques including cupping, medical massage, prenatal massage, and kinesiology taping. Firsthand experience in EAP/L helped Crystal overcome challenges in her own life by emphasizing the value of the spiritual and mental health components in healing and whole-body wellness. For her, time with the horses built a stronger relationship in God through greater self-awareness and she hopes to foster that for others too. In her free time, Crystal enjoys playing soccer, traveling to new places and spending time playing games with her people.

Julie Hester
EQUINE SPECIALIST
Julie’s profession has been in Human Resources for over 18 years, doing all things HR for a global company. Prior to entering the corporate workforce, she trained horses, taught equestrian students, and managed barns full time. Witnessing the growth and development that her equestrian students experienced with horses led to Julie co-founding Crossroads Corral a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 2015 with its mission to promote personal growth, hope and healing through horses. She believes that God gifted her a passion for horses to bless others as they draw near to God and experience His healing power leading to overall wellness in mind, body, and soul. Julie holds multiple certifications in EAL/EAP and brings over thirty years of equine experience to the ministry. When not working, you will often find Julie spending time with her family, loving on the horses at the barn, introducing her son to the horses or taking care of her miniature horse farm at home.
